Evolve and transform your organisation, your company, your capabilities and your skills thanks to digitalisation.

Digitalisation offers endless future opportunities and HAZI is driving and promoting these high impact processes in the food and wood value chains.

This includes the development and application of new concepts and tools, such as the Internet of Things, Big Data, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, which offer the chance for our companies and organisations to take a qualitative leap and expand their opportunities. Incorporating this added value into the services offered represents a clear way to make progress in business strategies.

Smart digitalisation of the agri-food value chain – smart food country 4.0.

Design and development of an ecosystem of organisations with cutting-edge scientific and technological capabilities to achieve a more modern, sustainable and efficient sector in all its stages. To do this, we must structure the training of those working in the sector and adapt the existing ICT messages and solutions to the needs and specific features of our production sectors.

Awareness raising activities

Running initiates to help agents from the food and wood value chain become more comfortable with technology, resulting in general or vertical solutions in the sector.

Listening activities

Promoting and participating spaces which bring together ICT companies (supply) and links in the food chain (demand).

Bonos Onekin (Onekin Bonuses)

Financial support for diagnostic actions and technological solution proposals through Onekin bonuses.

Innovative experiences

Adaptation of different existing technological solutions to the situation in our sector and the creation of a common language to connect those owning the technology with the agents demanding technical solutions.

Additional services for solutions

Reuse of knowledge and the products obtained through its use to create solutions based on API (Application Programming Interface) for integrating systems.

Smart Territory

The institutions are making significant efforts to develop rural areas and improve the living conditions of those living in them. However, there is still a long way to go when it comes to overcoming the digital divide between the rural and urban worlds. To minimise this problem, HAZI is encouraging the smart use of digitalisation as an instrument for improving opportunities and overcoming inequality of access to new technologies.

Digital training

Helps people gain the skills necessary to use digital tools and offsets the difficulties of the rural and coastal environment with facilitating technologies.

Facilitating infrastructures

Development of infrastructures facilitating change, promoting equal opportunities between rural areas and cities, such as extending broadband to allow the entire population to access electronic services.

Bind 4.0.

HAZI participates in the promotion of technology applied to Food-Tech through the open public-private innovation platform for the smart industry, Up Euskadi, an entrepreneurial ecosystem created by the Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and the Environment through the SPRI Group.

Introduction for international start-ups

Introducing international start-ups to the problems of agri-food SMEs highly aware of the digitalisation of processes and products.
